  • Overview



    The ideal candidate will possess inventory and inventory control experience and have experience with operating forklift.




    • Issue parts and tools to Technicians as needed or directed by Supervisors and Engineers after inspection to ensure they are in compliance.
    • Perform periodic stock counts, issues and credits parts and tools and prepares proper documentation.
    • Accept material from carriers signs for the material and loads/unloads material.
    • Inspect material for damage and ensures completeness of shipments. Take paperwork to FOM.
    • Properly prepare and package material for transport including preparing the necessary company and carrier documents.
    • Initiate and complete all required documentation, tools signed in and out, AIED forms for tool replacement, removed from service or order new items
    • Maintain storage facilities including racks, shelves, bins and other locations.
    • Perform light mechanical assembly tasks.
    • Operate forklifts, pallet movers and other material handling equipment.
    • Ensure power tools have current safety inspections
    • Write requisitions for additional safety and consumable items and forward to purchasing.
    • Clean and organize the tool crib and other containers in the area.
    • Send tools out for repair and track, follow up and remove from service if damaged beyond repair.
    • Inspect ladders, jack stands, tripods each quarter with the proper color code tape.




    • High School graduation or equivalent.
    • Inventory and inventory control experience is a must.
    • Experience with operating forklift
    • Industrial stores experience is preferred.
    • Must be able to work 1st shift
    • Basic computer experience required
    • Spreadsheet experience a plus.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time.
    • Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
    • Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required.


    Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, criminal background check, and local safety classes.
